Current Wardrobe: A long beige towel
As many of you know, my roommate and I are saving to move to California. However… I have this thing called… wanting to spend money frivolously. Every time I get a paycheck, I want to spend every last dime.
Well anyway, I splurged! I took Wednesday off work, went to Jensen Beach and West Palm beach, bought around 15 Amy Brown fairy postcards, some new Raj Doll perfume from Hot Topic, 3 trance music cds, 2 rave music cds, a new purse, more makeup, a map of the United States (laminated and hand drawn - very artistic), a purple see-thru bag with a silver butterfly rope, a few other small items… and get this… a cd player for my car! It took 3 hours to install the damn thing, cause Best Buy was overbooked or something. But it works! Nice detachable face… JVC brand… not too expensive, but very high quality!
So I got to listen to my trance and rave music on the way back from Applebees. Very nice!
So of course, I come home… see the bed, fall face first on the bed and lay there for 15 hours straight cause I was so exhausted… and missed work on Wednesday - and even Thursday morning.
*Sigh* but I love having mini-vacations every now and then, it helps me stay refreshed, feel nice… and keeps me from getting burned out!
On another note, I just wanted to wink at a few sweeties of mine who make a daily habit of being a doll. There are a handful of people who continually make every day worth coming to “work” if you even want to call it that. For that, I thank you all… I wouldn’t trade this job for anything in the world!
