Wow I love my new apartment, the neighbors are quiet and to themselves and seem to mind their own business, which I like… there is a Starbucks nearby but it will be hard to jog there in the mornings so I may need to drive, but the good news is that there is still a nice sidewalk so that I can run when I need to. My sister had surprised me by having her husband assemble my desk and my canopy bed so I didn’t have to assemble anything. And today my sister brought the kitty over - Tigger. I have grown up with this cat since I was 12 years old, but technically it is my sister’s kitty. Well apparently Tigger has a problem staying with her cause her place is kind of sticky from the ocean being so close and he’s been having health problems and getting claustrophobic so he will be staying with me on a “trial basis” she says… and if he likes it here then she will let him stay with me! So now i have a cat here in the house! Tigger is getting old now, he is ten years old and one of his eyes is bad, but he is so furry and lovable. I just LOVE him and will give him all my love. *smiles*
I went on my first official date with Tony. He came here tonight - Friday night and we went to KFC and got some food and took it with us to the San Diego beach and just watched the ocean and shared poetry and just spent time walking the beach and getting to know each other. It was beautiful…. but I think what I enjoyed the most is that he truly talked to me like a human being, not a sex object. When he looked at me, it was as though he was searching for a diamond or something…. you have no idea how long it has been since I have had the feeling of being with a true gentleman who does not have alterior motives. We kissed, we slowdanced on the sand… and then he came to my new apartment and my sister was here (I gave her a key) and he got to meet my sister and she gave me two thumbs up when she met him - so that’s a good sign. I like Tony because so far he has not made the move to have sex with me… most guys are pushing me in the bedroom in 5 minutes. This guy is a little more classy. I like class….. we even played video games together, watched There’s Something About Mary on dvd and then I showed him my San Diego drawing and he loved it and gave me some helpful advice too! Tomorrow is Saturday - well it’s today now that I look at the clock - and we’ll probably go out together, this is soo what I needed!
