These last few days I’ve been feeling more charitable than usual… and I found myself wanting to give large amounts of money to different charities. I had always seen good results from Make-A-Wish and I pondered over its website for ages. I decided I didn’t want to give them money after all (call me weird) so I ended up donating about 10,000 Skymiles to them instead. That way I know at least it’s actually something to be used and appreciated.
But it got me thinking. I’ve had at least four good dear friends of mine tell me that usually the larger charity companies are places that usually have more money than they know what to do with, and that’s why they pay the CEO’s almost half a million dollars to run the companies.
I don’t want my hard-earned orgasm money going into the pockets of some rich bitch who wears better shoes than me. But… I would like to help out a company that I know NEEDS it. I sure know my brother’s hospital does, but I’m not sure I want to do something so small-scale because my money won’t go very far there.
Ever been in that position?
If anyone knows of any charities… not the super big ones that are too big for their own glamour, please let me know.
You know it’s really strange when you want to give and you find yourself scratching your head.
I can only speak for myself when I say that, money is tough to come by …and to give it to charity….well, let’s just say I need it more than charity does.
Unless I am right there overseeing where my money goes, I don’t trust charities.
And all these A-List celebs who have charities, ugh, I don’t know. Some of them may be legit. But I just think it’s so fake.
It’s like, “Oh look at me, I’m filthy rich, but I do care and belong to charities…”
Alas I don’t know any charities in American really but sometimes it is just as good to give to big ones as small ones. All genuine charities are trying to distribute to worthy causes.
One way to help you to decide is to think if there is something that personally effected you. For instance my Mother had breast cancer a few years bac. She recovered thank the Goddess but now I always give to cancer charities when I can. Also being an animal lover and vegatarian I give to animal charities at times or very important are those trying to help in other parts of the world. One here called Okfam is a very worthy cause that helps in third countries and at home.
There are also international ones such as the Red Cross.
Yeah that’s one thing that always bothered me… watching millionaires shining their brilliant white teeth and fake breasts while being in the limelight for giving a thousand dollars to PITA.
I think giving (without needing publicity for it) is the best form of giving. It shows a lot of character.
Hmmm thinks what ATP would do with a charity donation to himself… maybe a trip to the porn shop for more dick pumps, jenna dvds, and the latest cyber ass that feels so real you could hump it while you sleep.

thanks celticblissy… I think that’s a fantastic idea… I know people affected by diabetes, cancer, spinal injuries, and AIDS. Maybe I’ll spread it out a bit… thanks hon
