Mmmmmm hope everyone had a Merry Christmas yesterday! Tis the season to be happy *smiles* I’m just lounging around the apartment right now… so glad to be home!
I spent Christmas Eve with some friends of mine at a local bar and ended up spending the night at Shane’s house and when we both woke up, there was a knock at the door and like… six other girls showed up. By the end of the night (on Christmas) at least 9 people ended up being there (including the bartender from the night before). It was really fun spending Christmas with friends - I couldn’t have asked for a more social christmas and I REALLY needed it. Last year I spent the holidays all by myself… and this year, well…. I spent it with friends and got to see my sister and her husband too. Friends and family - couldn’t ask for more.
We cooked some pork, green beans, corn, homemade gravy, a spinach and cheese quiche, and ate snacks all day. We watched “A Christmas Story” but we all got bored with it and ended up watching the actor’s inside edition of Robin Williams on TV and the cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We played Bones (a dominoes game) and drove around in a light green convertible, a 67 Pontiac Bonneville all around Ocean Beach. It was SO much fun with all of us girls just hanging out and having fun. I’ve become pretty good friends with most of em and will more than likely see them all again on Monday night.
I haven’t gotten my Secret Santa gift yet, mmm maybe it’s late? My father sent me a $50 gift card to Borders, which I happily spent on computer books. My sister made a cool sculpture for me in her sculpture class at school which I really love! And my sweet charming prince bought me a $100 gift certificate at Janesko.com which is my favorite site featuring an amazing artist named Jennifer Janesko. Thank you SOO much! I really am excited 
ooh and a really nice family Italian restaurant gave me a coupon for a free thin personal cheese pizza for me anytime I want as a way of saying thank you for the candy coated caramel popcorn I made them. Isn’t that sweet?
I sincerely hope that everyone had a nice Christmas… this is one of those times of years where people either have a Christmas they cherish or it’s a holiday that’s more of a lonely time. It was lonely for me last year and I swore I wouldn’t do that again like that cause it made me miserable.
