Yesterday I taught my first art worskshop for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE! I was at the art studio and they were having christmas specials on art lessons for kids and I had 14 students show up for my class!! I was a little nervous at first cause I was afraid maybe they wouldn’t like me or maybe I wasn’t as good as art as I thought I was, but truth be told…. it was one of the best times I think I’ve ever had! The kids LOVED me and the lady who was supervising me for the day was really impressed and is going to give a good word for me to HER boss and looks like they will be giving me a PERMANENT position as a kids art teacher. After about 6-12 weeks, I could get promoted to an adult art teacher.
Isn’t that GREAT????? This is a milestone for me… I really really have waited for this for a long time.
