The good and the bad.
The bad first.
Some asshole broke into my car and stole my amplifier, speakers, and brand new custom done stereo in my car. But that’s not the worst part. They ripped open my side door and the window (now neither of them will shut properly) and wrote a vulgar word on my car with shoe polish. Gee. Those were brand new speakers too, I only had them for 2 weeks and no one knew I had them. I called the police and filed a police report but there is no way I’ll ever see my stuff again and have to get with my insurance company to see if I can recover any money for it and look for all my previous receipts. How was I to remember the exact type of speakers they were? Argh - it just upsets me. And having someone write vulgarity on my door was even ruder. I won’t even say what they wrote, but it was a sexually offensive word.
And while sulking over the bad news, I happened to get to the good news.
The good.
Every morning between the hours of 6am-9am I sit my pretty little ass down at Starbucks and drink my favorite coffee while working on a new drawing and over the last few days I’ve gotten to meet some remarkable people and have nearly 8 business cards from freelancing opportunities coming up. I’ve been brainstorming some new projects and I think I’m going to do something really drastic. There’s a good chance I may start my very OWN art studio selling art supplies, while offering classes and tutorials, etc. I’ve been seriously considering this for 3 days, which isn’t that long but I’ve decided to take some Business Management classes in college starting January 31st and get my feet in the door so I can own my own company doing things I love and running things the way I’ve always dreamed. I’ve already drawn a layout of the building and checked out commercial real estate for lease in certain areas I like and have decided a name and logo and am currently registering it. Probably gonna get a loan to get these up and running, just gotta cross my fingers and see what happens and see if I get approved for it. Anyway it’s up in the air - never know what might happen. Wish me luck.
The art…
Thanks to sexy Chris Cross who offered some excellent advice regarding my next art fair project. I had been pondering the possibility of maybe doing a giant casino with intricate details and he suggested the Vegas strip instead - which is BRILLIANT! I am definitely going to do Vegas for my next piece *smiles* Now I just need a great photo to inspire me of Vegas so I have an idea of which direction to head. If anyone sees a great Vegas strip photo online please let me know!
I just got my wide-angle lens in the mail! Thanks to my sweet sexy sweetheart who obeyed my spell under hypnosis and bought it for me thank you! I love this attachment and it takes WAY better photos!
