mmmmm hey there sexy people, how are you all today? *grins* I’m in a really good, excellent, happy mood. I woke up thinking about a very hot person and spent the rest of my day doing things that were rather productive, and that’s ALWAYS a good thing! I have a research paper due on Monday (could be extended to Wednesday I think) and since my school’s library was closed today, I drove to UCSD to use their library. Ok that sounds really simple right? Well I’ve never been to UCSD. I’ve really never seen big colleges before to be honest, so I had butterflies in my stomach just driving around looking for parking. The whole college seemed intimidating by being so big and having such a prestige about it. But I really needed to do my research and stuff so I got my head together and just went in. I crammed about 2 hours of research into 2 paragraphs and then the library closed, which sucked but at least I got at least a LITTLE part of my paper done. I’m supposed to write about how the government should NOT be allowed to censor society. I was shocked to see that UCSD has over 6 MILLION BOOKS. That’s a lot of friggin books. Wow. I was like a little kid in that library. I found at least 9 books that were JUST about censorship and pornography which caught me by surprise. I didn’t expect to really find anything and I was just blown away!
I get intimidated easy by big buildings, prestigious places, people who have big degrees, and all that psycho stuff… needless to say…. at least part of my jitters are gone. Who knows maybe one day I’ll attend there. But then again Berkeley sure seems nice too.
I won’t be able to maek it tonight to hang out and use your recorder for my listing.
This weekend has been exhausting.
I need to show up for the new job at RedEnvelope.com at 8am tomorrow morning.
