I grew up watching baseball with my dad and was a Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire fan back in 1987-1989 when they were the Bash Brothers on the Oakland A’s and they won the world series. I remember the A’s playing the San Francisco Giants and being sooo excited. Was that in 88? I collected every SINGLE Jose Canseco card and even had a poster of him in my bedroom. So that being said, I know a thing or two about baseball even though I haven’t really watched it on tv in years and have never seen a pro game. Hehe… ok maybe I don’t know that much.
The San Diego Padres (yay San Diego) are now the National League West Champions of 2005 which is so awesome! It’s not that I know anything about the Padres but this is the first time I’ve ever lived in a city where a major league team existed, much less won a championship! So first of all congrats to the Padres, sorry I missed the game but hey my heart’s in the right place.
Now I see that the Chicago White Sox is in the world series and are only 2 games away from winning?!?!??! That is un-fucking-believable. They DESERVE to win! I can’t even recall them EVER winning now that I think about it. Plus I have a LOT of callers and clientelle out there in Chicago so I’m gonna show my support for you guys. Go White Sox! Go kick some ass! If Chicago wins the World Series then I’ll give all of my Chicago callers 5 free extra minutes on a phone sex call woohoo!! Go Chicago! If Houston wins, then I’ll do something nice for my Houston callers too… but I think I only have 2 callers from Houston and I doubt either of them even read my journal. So don’t tell them I like Chicago or they’ll kick my butt *winks*…
Mmmmm I get horny just thinking about all the energy that goes on at the game. I wish I was in the crowd the minute all the fans scream when a grand slam is hit.
