Just so everyone knows my upcoming vacation schedule…
Nov 23-26 in San Jose
Dec 22-26 in Seattle
I’ll be in San Jose visiting one of my girlfriends from Wed Nov. 23- Sat Nov. 26 and will only be taking calls IF/WHEN I am alone… so no guarantees. I kinda want to take some vacation time for myself since I haven’t taken a vacation in a while. What better way to spend Thanksgiving than with the people you love and care about?
I wanted to do something charitable this year and leave home for the holidays. I talked to my good friend Lauren in Seattle, WA and it looks like I’ll be spending Christmas with her this year. I’ve never seen a “white christmas” with snow, so this will be a first! I will be in Seattle from Thurs Dec. 22 - Sunday Dec 26. I already bought the airline tickets so it’s official! We’ll go the Space Needle and eat on one night and I promise to take pictures! And on Christmas day we’re going to help the elderly and pass out food and maybe visit some nursing homes and stuff. I’ll try to take some pictures so you can see all the old people smiling 
For New Years Eve I might be heading back out to NYC so I can go to Times Square and watch the ball go down like I did in ‘98 which was really fun and had a blast! I’ll keep you posted! Maybe I’ll stay in San Diego but who knows….

Let’s see… my maid is feeding John so he’ll be all right and taken care of properly. And what? Carry my luggage on the plane? Yeah right. There are two reasons that won’t work. #1 I am a woman which means I don’t pack light. I gotta pack everything but the kitchen sink. So it won’t fit as carryon LOL. #2 I am a Goddess which means I shouldn’t have to lift a single finger *winks*
But you are right… it can be scary if I miss a connection. Thankfully it’s just one stop from SD to Vegas to Seattle so crossing my fingers!

Really? How interesting. Let me know if you want a guide to good coffee and such. I’ll be out of town on the 24th through you’re own departure date but I work right downtown in the Federal building (no, I really can’t talk about it) so coffee and chat would be more than doable.
You should come to Germany and see the Snow and the Christmas Markets. Hey, these people INVENTED Santa Claus!
wow that’s so cool that you live out there… yeah I’m gonna have a ‘tour guide’ sort of, my friend Lauren is taking me around all of Seattle and then we’re traveling up to Canada. So if you know any cool places we can go for coffee or hang out places that would be nice!
Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, France… are all on my high priority lists of places to visit! Trust me I WILL go!!
You should definitely check out the Underworld Tour in Pioneer Square. It’s basically an adult oriented version of the famous Underground Tour focusing on the history of Seattle as a vice ridden border town. I don’t want to kibbitz your personal local guide so I’ll leave the nightlife and dining recommendations to her. It’s probably for the best since a great night out on the town for us lately has been drinks with friends at a local pub and then back home in bed before one. What area of the city will be your stomping ground while in town? The different burbs all have their unique little places and attractions.
we’ll be spending most of our time above Seattle in Bellingham and spend some time in Canada, so we’ll be going all over the place. I am so excited!
