My night started out innocent enough, really it did! But I yada-yada-yada’d over the best part!

Tonight Kevin and I went to Friday’s and ate yummy fresh salads and went to Borders and went book shopping. Remind me to make a mental note that when two geeks go into a bookstore, it’s like letting kids loose in a candy store. Just got to touch everything. Gotta open every book and see what’s there.

I found myself buried in the computer book section for quite some time and purchased “Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers” which is an excellent resource for color correcting photos in my line of work and also “Professional CSS: Cascading Style Sheets for Web Design” which seems quite useful involving CSS and also a book called “the zen of css design” which I assume is based off the zen css website (which is what helped me learn how to do my latest hypnosis website using css). So needless to say, I’ll have my head buried in these books to learn some new ways of working on the internet so I can STOP using html all the time and start using css and have quicker page-loading time, etc.

And for kicks, I bought a book called “Forever” by Pete Hamill. This book was just calling for me. The story starts off in 1740 with a man in NYC who becomes immortalized and follows his fictional tale to watching how people, society, and NYC all change to the year 2005. I haven’t started reading it yet but I’ll be sure to write a review on Amazon.com when I’m through with it! It’s a national bestseller apparently so if any of you have read it, please let me know what you thought of it!

Kev ended up getting the book “History of Violence” which was based (or was the movie based on the book?) on the movie we saw a few weeks ago in the theater. By the way the movie is pretty good, it moves slow but there are some pivotal scenes (especially the hot sex scene towards the end) that will stick with you for quite some time. And he also got “Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal” which has a cute title but I have no clue what it’s about. It sounds funny though!

Now I’m sure that sounds really boring to all of you. Books. Blah blah. But it’s HOT! I was getting SO wet and hot and aroused just standing there in the bookstore surrounded by other geeks. Geeks in the Computer section. Geeks on the floor in the Gaming section. Geeks sitting in chairs with walkmans reading books on SQL and bookbags all over the place. Nerds with glasses reading R.A. Salvadore books on dragons. I got so freaking WET and HORNY just looking at people engrossed in their books! Am I going crazy or what?

And this one girl was looking at the new 2006 calendars and apparently Borders is selling 20 calendars of cats and 20 calendars of dogs…. so I pretended to look at the dog calendars on the opposite side of her so I could look at her while she looked at the cats. Our eyes met briefly and she was sooo pretty. And damn if a geek didn’t stand beside me and look at her too. Now THAT was hot!!! My knees practically fell. *sigh* I’m hopeless for geeks. Can’t help it. Later Kev came to my rescue and we went to the register to pay for the books LOL.

Afterwards we came home, had some milk and cookies, listened to the blues cd we got at The House of Blues last week, went upstairs….

It’s 3:38am and I can’t sleep. Tossing and turning in bed. *sigh* thought I’d write an entry and try to put myself to sleep….

So last night I went out to dinner and a movie with my friend Darren from South Africa. He and I met in a NYC airport about a year ago and have been friends ever since. We were waiting for a flight back to San Diego, so we struck up a conversation and turns out we live really close to one another. Now he’s moving to Utah to start his own computer company, which I’m very happy for him but now I feel like I’m losing another friend. Don’t you hate it when your friends move away? Anyway he’ll be here for another 2 weeks which is nice. He kinda has a crush on me. Well it’s more than “kinda” — he really does. Every time I’ve ever seen him he’s always babytalking me and trying to get me to be his girlfriend or whatever. It’s kinda weird. But he’s really nice and means well.

We saw the movie “Domino” with Keira Knightley. I have such a crush on her. I love her face, her eyes are piercing! I wish she had a little more meat on her bones but other than that — she is the perfect looking girl in my opinion. Those long black eyelashes and big beautiful brown eyes. I could look into them forever. She is soooo beautiful. Seeing her eyes lit up on the big screen was REALLY hot. I’m really surprised just how many closeup shots of her eyes the director cut into the movie. She is so beautiful! I’m almost 99.99% certain I’m negative but I still like to be careful and certain for my own sanity and peace of mind. It only takes a week to get back results so that’s really quick!

On Saturday night I’m going to SDSU at the Backdoor Theater (don’t you love that name?) at 7pm to go to Diva’s Night Out which is gonna be so much fun! There will probably be a drag queen show there for sure and it’s been a while since I’ve gone out to a thing like this so I am definitely going! You all should come!

I’m going to San Jose for Thanksgiving to see my friend Erika and her family and go to her girlfriend’s party which should be fun. She’s like family to me, so her family is my family. Besides my family is too disfunctional to be called a family.

I got a notecard in the mail from my devout Christian mother today that said “I would have called you but I can’t stand listening to your voicemail long enough to leave a message so I will write you instead…” so basically she is implying that she hates my sexy phone sex voice and hates my sexy message I have on my voicemail answering machine.
