Well at first I thought I was crazy for considering Chicago, but now it really sounds promising. I’ve been actually working with a loan partner so I can get approved for a loan which will pay 100% financing for a mortgage! I have never owned my own home before… but apparently my credit is FINALLY so good that I don’t even have to put any money down! Isn’t that fantastic!?! Right now I just have to prove my assets, income, etc. which is taking a while since I’m self-employed. This is a dream come true!

I remember sitting in my room when I was 12 years old, crying because life sucked. I was broke, poor as hell, not old enough to get a job, lived in a shitty house in the ghetto, and was reading a magazine that had a picture of a celebrity’s home. I’m not sure which celebrity it was. But I remember his home. I remember his penthouse view of the city at night, overlooking this glorious city skyline. And from that moment on, I wanted that. I wanted his life. To make money. To have a condo in the city with a penthouse view. I wanted that so much. It gave me hope. I was a little jealous, but more hopeful than anything. My father said I’d never make that kind of money to afford something like that (my dad worked at Wal-Mart for 12 years so that’s where he was coming from). And my mother told me only doctors and lawyers could afford a place like that.

And now….

I can have one of my own. A big one. A penthouse condo in a skyscraper just like the ones from the magazines, overlooking the city just like I always dreamed. In Chicago, my money is worth more than it is here, so I can have more space, more square footage, and live in a better neighborhood.

This little fantasy world is turning into reality, slowly but surely. Who knows… perhaps in a few months time I’ll be in a whole ‘nother state. I love California and I’ll definitely visit all the time, but I’m bored.

I …. finally… have… air conditioning!

And for the first time in a loooong time, I am super super super super horny. Not only that… I am inspired to do some more recordings, including finishing up my vampire hypnosis one.

Having air conditioning REALLY makes a difference. I FEEL like working. I FEEL like being productive. I FEEL happy….. aaah sooooo much better!!!!!! And just in time too! I’m shooting Scar tomorrow and yay the apartment will be a sweet 68 degrees *the perfect temperature*

*begin rant*

I am pissed off about this heat. Tonight, I gave up. I just forked over almost a thousand dollars for air conditioner units for my apartment, delivery, installation, etc. But that’s not all. The cords to the air conditioners aren’t long enough to reach any sockets, so I am hiring an electrician to install two sockets under upstairs and downstairs windows. And I have heard horror stories about electrical fires from extension cords, so I’m going to do this the expensive way. But get this. Apparently there is a huge waiting list for electricians cause of the heat. Lots of people are getting air conditioners and are hiring them left and right. Guess I’m not the only one fed up with this heat. It was 96 degrees today. Just last week, the temperature was between 100-120 degrees in San Diego County. I am on a waiting list for an appointment under the “emergency list.” Since my home is also my place of business, this counts as a commercial AND residential emergency *winks*

And there are still people who say global warming isn’t real? Ha!

My apartment is getting pest controlled and fumigated today (Sunday) which means I am getting kicked out of my apartment for 4-6 hours. I told my landlord that I’ve got an infestation of spiders (daddy longlegs) and I’m going out of my mind. I’ve been killing like 4 of those a day, and sometimes I’m screaming too much to kill them and end up jumping on the bed away from them. And if I don’t kill them, then I can’t stay awake cause I fear they are going to crawl on me when I don’t see them. I have an extreme case of arachnaphobia to say the least and once I saw a spider in my bathtub while I was in the shower, that was the last straw. (My shower is the ONE place I can go where I feel most comfortable. The closest place to germ-free in my apartment.) I almost died. Literally. I fell and hurt myself (I’m ok now) cause I was freaking out. Spiders creep me out. So pest control is coming free of charge. So not only will I not be home, but I will be in the hot, scorching heat for most of the day. Who knows what I’ll do… shop? Gah. Maybe I’ll go to a movie theater and watch a couple movies. It’s always freezing in movie theaters. Yeah. I think that’s what I’ll do. But then I’ll have to put up with my germphobia and sit in chairs other people have sat in, hear people eating, and listen to people talking during the movie. So what is it? Heat, spiders, or germs? I think I’ll go for the germs and just wear my latex gloves. I swear, I’m not crazy. People are gross in theaters. But at least they’re cold. This heat is putting me in a horrible mood.

It’ll probably be Monday or Tuesday till the air conditioners are running and working properly cause I can’t plug them in yet. Once I get these things in, I’ll feel more “up” to doing calls. Sorry but it’s so freaking hot in this apartment, I just haven’t been in the mood to do calls lately. Right now it’s not so bad cause it’s 4:30am in the morning and the windows are open and I can feel the night breeze, but during the day… there’s no way.

I’m at my wit’s end. Give me air or give me death.

I’m doing a photoshoot of Scar on Wednesday night. The air conditioners BETTER be up and running by then or else the shoot is going to suck big time. Sure, it might be sexy looking at a hot, sweaty model. But the last thing I want is an indoor sauna with sweat in all the wrong places.

Gah.

I decided to go to Comic-Con since it’s here in San Diego and I’ve gone every year since I moved here to California. Today, however, the lines were far too long to even get in. I swear to you, there was a 4-hour long line OUTSIDE in the scorching 90 degree heat just to get in to buy tickets. I looked at the lines and said, “Oh hell no.” Then, of course, I came back home. Serves me right. I suppose I should have pre-registered online like I had initially intended. I guess I keep forgetting that with 140,000 people the lines would be excruciating. Needless to say, I don’t have any photos to share of Comic-Con this year.

On another note… I’ve been steadily working on the vampire hypnosis recording and what to say, etc. I have probably put more time and effort into the research of this recording more than any other recording I have ever done. It’s still not finished. It’s been 9 days since I first started recording it. Hopefully I’ll have it done within the next few days.

And yesterday I had a real life session with a guy and recorded it. He’s this tough military guy who I forced to dress like a girl and I fucked his ass with a strapon. It was fun turning a macho guy into a sissy girl. haha… I’ll release the recording soon!

I’m so irritated with the heat. Now granted, I grew up in Alabama so I am used to heat. Trust me, I am used to heat a LOT worse than this. But damn. It’s 90+ degrees and I don’t have an air conditioner. It’s horrible. It’s impossible to sit and do recordings in the soundproof room cause it is almost 100 degrees in there without windows or circulation. But I’m not going to sit here and complain. Ok yeah maybe I will.
