Email of the Month

This is an excerpt from an email I received today. Please excuse me while I fall on the floor laughing.
—-
A line of the email:

“Can you do hypnosis on me so every girl that sees me will want to beat me up and throw me down and smother me unconscious?”

——
I can’t help but think of sarcastic replies.

1. Yeah right, you gotta be kidding me. Do you know ANYTHING about hypnosis?
2. You actually believe that if I say a few words to you that uninterested strangers will suddenly want to jump you? Gee. If that were the case, I’d be at the Playboy Mansion right now.
3. If you want girls to beat you up as soon as you meet them, simply walk up to them and say, “I fucked your mom.” You don’t need hypnosis for that.
4. No.

Experience a deeper trance

A huge percentage of my clients write me with the same basic questions. How can I go deeper into a trance? This works, but this doesn’t, what can I do to make it work for me? How can I experience hypnosis more effectively? Etc.

The list of questions is exhausting to answer, especially when my answers are so repetitive. I’ve been giving people the same basic answers for years now and it’s gotten to the point where I finally decided to create a webpage I could simply link to. For now on, when someone has a question related to the effectiveness of hypnosis, I can link to it which will provide people with more useful information. Isn’t that better than my short and brief (and usually sarcastic) comments? I spent a long time developing the page and my hopes are that people will find it useful and informative. You can find the page here: Deep Trance Hypnosis.

The page states the following:

Deep Trance Hypnosis

Experience a DEEPER Trance
The main thing to remember is that hypnosis is mainly just following instructions. As long as you can follow instructions and obey every command, you can be hypnotized.

If you are told, “Close your eyes and relax them. Allow them to become so tight that you are unable to open them. And only try to open them when you are positive they will not. ”

Think about those statements for a moment. You were given a command telling you to close your eyes. Simple. Close them. If you are told to allow them to become tight, then allow them to become tight. If you are told to only attempt to open them when you are sure they will not, well you were only instructed to obey commands. Right?

If you say or think, “I wasn’t hypnotized because I opened my eyes,” well all you’re saying is that you chose to disobey simple instructions. If you want to be hypnotized, you simply have to follow instructions. It’s that easy.

Do you want to be hypnotized? Then all you have to do to experience a deep trance is follow instructions. I know you want to be hypnotized, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. So do yourself a favor and teach yourself the art of hypnotic obedience. Obeying is easy. It really is. Read this sentence. See? I just gave a command and you obeyed it (you read “Read this sentence” and followed through by actually reading it). You didn’t even have to think about it. You just did it. You read it because you wanted to read it. The same thing applies with hypnosis. When you learn the art of obeying commands instantly without questioning the instructions, you’ll experience a deeper, fulfilling trance.

Contrary to what some people may believe, a hypnotist doesn’t do anything to you. A hypnotist can’t magically open up your brain and make your arm move. Hypnosis doesn’t work that way. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Ask any certified, qualified hypnotist and they’ll give you the same answer. That basically means that you’re hypnotizing yourself and you’re simply using My voice as a guide to experience the trance more fully.

If you are told, “Relax your arms and notice how extremely light they become as they rest on your lap. And as they become lighter, you may find they begin to float in the air all by themselves. Higher and higher…”

Think about that for a second. I’ve given you a simple command to relax your arms. Right? So allow them to relax. It’s as simple as obeying a Dominatrix who is giving you an instruction. If you are told to notice how light they are becoming, then tell your mind to follow My instruction and imagine your arms extremely feather-like. Once you realize how EASY it is to become hypnotized, then it will become more effortless. But being a great subject takes a lot of practice. Are you willing to practice at being a great subject to experience the deepest trances?

Your time is valuable. If you follow instructions the FIRST time, you’ll notice how easy it becomes to be hypnotized the second and third time. The only time hypnosis becomes less effective is when a client disobeys a command. If you really want to be hypnotized, simply obey. It’s really that simple. If you are told to imagine something, imagine it. If you are told to do something, do it. If you are told to say something, say it. If you are told to think something, think it. Otherwise, you’re resisting the hypnosis and that defeats the purpose of why you are here. You do want to be hypnotized don’t you? Then tell yourself, “This is working” and let it work. If you have difficulty letting go of your resistance, then simply pretend it works. For many people, the technique of “pretending the hypnosis works” allows them to go deeply into a trance. Perhaps that method may work for you.

Keep in mind that hypnosis takes practice. Many people listen to recordings for years before going into a deeeeep trance. Hypnosis takes practice. Some people can go into a deep trance the very first time. Others it can take longer to learn the art of going into a deep, hypnotic trance.

Some may say, “I have difficulty being hypnotized, I keep popping in and out of trance.”

If this applies to you, then please listen carefully. Do you want to learn how to experience a deep and effective trance? Then start telling yourself you CAN go into trance, rather than the opposite. If you tell yourself you have a difficulty, you will have one. If you tell yourself you are popping in and out of trance, you will continue to do so. What you are doing is feeding your brain negative responses. When you tell your mind something negative, it basically says, “Ok, you will continue to have negative results because you are thinking negatively.”

However, when you reverse your thinking process to accept only POSITIVE thoughts, such as, “I can easily become hypnotized. Achieving a deep trance is effortless for me,” then your mind begins to believe it. Your brain starts to say, “You will have positive results because you have positive thinking.” You ARE what you THINK. If you think something isn’t working, it won’t. If you think something IS working, then it will. That’s also called the Law of Attraction.

Sometimes people say things like, “I didn’t feel amnesia afterwards, so the hypnosis didn’t work.”

When I hear comments like that, I always simply say, “Hypnosis takes practice.” Not everyone can get deep enough to experience amnesia the first few times. It is an art form to go deep. If you want to go deeper, then tell your mind you are going deeper.

Sometimes in a recording, I might say “Remember to forget this suggestion.”

That was simply an order from a hypnodomme. If you choose to remember what I said, then you are defeating the purpose of the hypnosis. And you DO want to be hypnotized don’t you? Then tell yourself to remember to FORGET the suggestion. If you tell yourself to remember to remember, then you’re telling your mind the opposite of what I commanded you. That’s basically saying to yourself, “I don’t really want to be hypnotized, so I’ll just ignore the command and put My own command there.”

Being hypnotized takes practice. Practice is a good thing, so embrace it because it’s worth your time! Think about how long it took you to practice tying your shoelaces. At first, it took all of your conscious effort. How to tie the laces, how and where to loop it, how tight to make it, and where to hold your finger. When you messed up tying your shoes, you simply untied them and tried again. It may have seemed frustrating at first, but look at the results now! You do it subconsciously without even thinking about it. You could do it with your eyes closed if you wanted to. It was WORTH the TIME to learn it, wasn’t it? Imagine spending the rest of your life with your shoelaces untied because you never wanted to put in the work. Once you learn it, it’s with you FOREVER. Same with riding a bike or playing chess. With hypnosis, it works the same way. Once you put in the time to PRACTICE over and over until it becomes effortless, it will transfer from being a conscious effort to being an unconscious effort.

There are four stages of “practicing” until you know you have reached the correct stage. Most of you are ALREADY PAST the first stage already.

Stage 1: Unconscious Incompetence - this is basically the state where you are ignorant and lack knowledge and skills and don’t even realize it yet. For instance, in learning how to tie your shoes, this would be the part where you didn’t even realize that shoes have laces.

Stage 2: Conscious Incompetence - this is where you realize you are not an expert and you suddenly realize perhaps you should be doing something differently (and you look for outside help for assistance in learning). For instance, in learning how to tie your shoes, this would be the part where you realize that wearing velcro is outdated and you get your parents to tie your shoes for you.

Stage 3: Conscious Competence - this is where you actively start making a conscious, knowing effort to experience formal learning. For instance, in learning how to tie your shoes, this would be the part where you say, “Everyone be quiet so I can concentrate! I’m learning how to tie my shoes and I need to focus carefully on this so I can do it right.”

Stage 4: Unconscious Competence - this is where you don’t even have to think about it anymore and you have successfully learned to complete the task effortlessly. For instance, in learning how to tie your shoes, this would be the part where you can tie your shoes and be able to carry a conversation with someone and not even have to look down to concentrate.

However, it’s a very easy thing to learn. Some people over-analyze everything by listening to every phrase and trying to decide whether or not they should follow it. Or perhaps they listen so extremely carefully that they find fault in phrases and are purposely searching for a way to possibly resist. If that’s that applies to you, then you’re telling yourself subconsciously that you don’t want to be hypnotized. The question I pose to you is this… “Why listen to a hypnosis recording if you intend on resisting and fighting it?” All that energy spent on resisting and analyzing recording will be much better spent on obedient-energy, rather than resistant-energy. It takes skill to learn using all your energy to apply obedience, rather than resistance. If all else fails, tell your mind, “I will obey every command because I trust the hypnotist.” This will relieve the resistance a great deal because you are teaching yourself OBEDIENCE.

Please don’t confuse this with telling yourself, “I will not resist,” because that’s making it worse. When you even SAY or THINK the word “resist” - then basically you are telling yourself to resist. The word itself has a strong impact. Even when you tell yourself NOT TO, you are still subconsciously going to do it. For instance, if I were to say to you, “Don’t think of a blue elephant,” — well… your mind just did the opposite and you thought of a blue elephant. And yet, I commanded you not to do it. That’s the same law that applies to what you tell YOURSELF. So instead of telling yourself that you won’t resist, use positive words such as, “I will obey,” or “I’m hypnotized already,” or “Being hypnotized is easy and effortless.” That way your mind is equating the words “obey” and “hypnotized” and “easy” and “effortless” rather than focusing on the word “resistance.”

If you critically analyze instructions before following them, you’re basically throwing your money away. My best advice under those circumstances is to STOP THINKING so much and just relax. Seriously. Relaxing is so easy to do! One of the main reasons people want to be hypnotized is because it is so effortless and makes them FEEL GOOD. Hypnosis can allow people to unwind from their days at work or relieve stress. And well, erotic hypnosis can bring you one hell of an orgasm! So simply relax and stop thinking so hard. If you’re thinking too hard, keep practicing until it becomes effortless.

Sometimes people say things such as, “I felt very hypnotized and was going down extremely deep. But when you gave me suggestions, they didn’t work on me.”

Sigh. You can take a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. What that basically means is this: I can help guide your mind to experience a fulfilling, effective trance. I’m very successful at it. However, when you’re in a deep trance, I can’t force you to accept a suggestion. That’s like forcing a horse to drink.

Some people may choose to think, “But you’re a hypnotist! All your suggestions should work on me.”

That makes me laugh out loud. Think about that comment for a second. If hypnotists had the ability to force unwanted suggestions upon people, don’t you think we’d have a different president? If hypnotists like me could force suggestions and make it happen against people’s wills, we would own every world bank, be able to veto any bill, and be able to stop world violence at the snap of a finger. We could hypnotize casino owners to give us endless supplies of cash. If hypnotists could magically make someone do something they didn’t want to do, don’t you think Bill Gates would have given Me all his money by now? Hypnosis only works if you want it to.

Only YOU can decide if you want a suggestion to work. When you make yourself follow a command/suggestion, you’re allowing the hypnosis to work effectively. A hypnotist cannot force you to do something you don’t want to do. Hypnotists can’t force you to close your eyes, nor can they force you to obey commands. It’s all up to you. However, when you DO follow all the instructions, you’ll see how wonderful the results can be!

Sometimes people say things like, “But I watched a hypnosis show and saw a straight man say that he liked men and I know for a fact he didn’t want to do that.”

Haha. Don’t kid yourself. Regardless of what he may say afterwards, he definitely wanted to say it. It doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gay, it just meant he was willing to say it. Besides, comparing stage hypnosis to erotic hypnosis mp3 recordings is drastically different. Read here for details.

In the recording, “Crooked Hypnotist”, I commanded people to do really bad things (stealing, leaving their wives, etc.) and I sold thousands of copies. However not a single person has obeyed all of the commands. I know this because I haven’t received a single item that this required people to send Me. Why? Because they chose not to. And truth is, I’m relieved that people chose to disregard those suggestions as it was intended to be taboo entertainment rather than realistic commands.

However, in the recording, “The Tease,” I gave commands that were relatively easy to follow that would give immediate pleasure to those who listened to it. People who listened to it followed the instructions within it. Why? Because they chose to and they knew it would bring them great pleasure. And I’m grateful for that!

Whether or not you choose to accept or reject a suggestion is up to you. All of My recordings have detailed descriptions telling you what the suggestions and/or theme will be and so you know before hand what to expect. If you want a deep trance, then find a recording you want to listen to, then obey the instructions within it. It’s that simple!

So basically, here are some things to remember to experience a deep trance:
* Follow all instructions. That’s 95% of hypnosis right there.
* Always think positive thoughts. Tell yourself the hypnosis is working.
* Hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Only YOU can make yourself do something.
* Remember that hypnosis takes practice. Not everyone can be deeply hypnotized the first time.
* If all else fails, pretend it’s working. Eventually your mind will have an easier time removing the “critical faculty” barrier between your conscious and subconscious mind, thus allowing you to combine playing pretend into reality.

Boycott the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing

This is the letter I wrote to the IOC

Dear International Olympic Committee,
Some of your members are violating the oath they took when they joined the IOC (see second-to-last paragraph).

In this link, The International Olympic Committee talks about its missions and efforts to make the Olympics free from violence and political abuse.

1 The Olympic Movement and its Action efforts to ensuring that, in sport, the spirit of fair play prevails and violence is banned;
China is clearly violating many of the oaths and missions of the Olympic Games!

Citizens and non-citizens who practice the religious peaceful faith of Falun Gong have been tortured, illegally arrested, and persecuted in horrendous ways (forced feeding through the nose, torturous beatings, electric shock, chemical-induced brainwashing, and numerous other atrocious methods.) For details of how people are being tortured in China, view this link - and many of those Falun Gong practitioners (whether potential athletes, foreign and domestic journalists, or Olympic workers) are being arrested or prosecuted and being DENIED access to participate in the Olympics because of their religious beliefs!

I fear that since China has been torturing and killing its own people for not giving up their faith (and preventing them from participating in the Olympic games), it could be disastrous for athletes who participate in the games who may reveal their religious beliefs during or after the international competitions. What will happen to these athletes? Will they be tortured and murdered for telling the public their beliefs on-air? The International Olympics Committee should step in now and threaten to halt the Olympics (or threaten to move the Olympics to another country). The Olympic spirit is being diminished.

6 to act against any form of discrimination affecting the Olympic Movement;
Wow, that’s exactly the opposite of what China is doing! They are discriminating from Falun Gong practitioners from entering the Olympic Games (that’s religious discrimination!!! What more proof do you need?)… China is also discriminating Falun Gong workers and many journalists from entering as well. That is religious discrimination and should NOT be tolerated. Even the Olympic Watch Organization wrote to the IOC (read full letter) in hopes the IOC would respond regarding the human rights situation. The Chinese government has FORCIBLY and ILLEGALLY (without providing proper compensation) evicted many Beijing residents (300,000 people at least so far!) for the sake of re-development of the city for the Olympic games. Here are several links that shows the atrocities of China in regards to the Olympics.

10 to oppose any political or commercial abuse of sport and athletes;
Political abuse? Here’s political abuse. (China wrongfully deporting people based on their religious beliefs! There is one year left before the Olympics and repression continues in China. The Chinese government has at least 30 journalists and 50 internet users detained (some of them since the 1980s) and the government blocks access to THOUSANDS of news websites, human rights websites, blogs, and other methods of receiving vital information. China vowed to improve their human rights situation before the Olympics, but it is ONLY GETTING WORSE!!!

14 to promote a positive legacy from the Olympic Games to the host cities and host countries;
The Human Rights Watch Organization wrote an article in 2001 stating that “We think the human rights record of a country should be taken into serious consideration by the IOC in selecting the site for the 2008 Olympics…” and yet China still received the bid to have the Olympics in their country. To PROMOTE A POSITIVE LEGACY, the games should not take place in a country that promoted media and internet censorship, horrible labor rights and harsh conditions.

How are the Olympic Games being used to justify the violent forced evictions of thousands of people from their homes? (Info on forced evictions)

The Reporters Without Borders list of nine things the Chinese authorities must do before the Beijing Olympic Games:

1. Release all journalists and Internet users detained in China for exercising their right to information.
2. Abolish for ever the restrictive articles in the Foreign Correspondents Guide that limit the media’s freedom of movement and work.
3. Disband the Publicity Department (the former Propaganda Department), which exercises daily control over content in the Chinese press.
4. End the jamming of foreign radio stations.
5. End the blocking of thousands of news and information websites based abroad.
6. Suspend the “11 Commandments of the Internet,” which lead to content censorship and self-censorship on websites.
7. End the blacklisting of journalists and human rights activists, which prevents them from visiting China.
8. Lift the ban on Chinese media using foreign news agency video footage and news reports without permission.
9. Legalize independent organisations of journalists and human rights activists.

China is NOT promoting a positive legacy. China is violating the principles of the Olympic Games!!!

1.3
The IOC admits its new members at a ceremony during which they agree to fulfil their obligations by taking the
following oath:

“Granted the honour of becoming a member of the International Olympic Committee, and declaring myself aware of my responsibilities in such capacity, I undertake to serve the Olympic Movement to the very best of my ability; to respect and ensure the respect of all the provisions of the Olympic Charter and the decisions of the International Olympic Committee, which I consider as not subject to appeal on my part; to comply with the Code of Ethics; to keep myself free from any political or commercial influence and from any racial or religious consideration; to fight against all other forms of discrimination; and to promote in all circumstances the interests of the International Olympic Committee and those of the Olympic Movement.”

The members of the IOC are violating its OWN OATH!!! Free from any political influence???? Fight against forms of discrimination??!! Are you kidding me? The Chinese government is influencing the entire Olympic Games and arresting journalists who seek information, discriminating athletes based on religious and political beliefs…. and the members of the IOC are letting China continue this!!! By turning a blind eye to what is happening, is a horrible abuse of power. Members of the IOC have RESPONSIBILITIES they should take seriously. Why is the IOC ignoring the atrocities? Obviously members are being INFLUENCED BY POLITICAL CONSIDERATION which is a gross violation of IOC’s Code of Ethics.

I, for one, am boycotting the Beijing 2008 Olympics due to the unfeasable human rights violations being ignored by the IOC and being committed by the country which was selected for a place of Olympic Spirit. I have urged many other human rights activists as well as potential Olympic-watchers and tourists to boycott the event as long as China continues violating the Olympic oath and standards and as long as China continues to falsely imprison journalists and Falun-Gong practitioners.

Signed,
(my real name)

I urge any of you who had planned to go to the games, write a boycott letter to the IOC.

Friends in San Diego

I invited some friends to join me in my hotel room (and then we went down to the pool on the 4th floor which overlooked the city of San Diego sooo beautifully). You may recognize some of my friends from past journal entries :-)

Isabella at Hotel Solamar

Wow I loooooved my hotel that I stayed at in San Diego. It was very contemporary and art deco. I’ll definitely be staying there again in the future! And my view from my window kicked ass! I got to see the fireworks and also got a great view of the city and the Petco Park baseball stadium where the Padres were playing.

Here are some pics of my hotel room (and also the view). In one of the photos, you’ll see a cop searching a woman who got caught shoplifting. My telephoto lens picked it up from many stories up! Also in some of my photos (not shown here) I zoomed in on the baseball stadium and got SO close with my camera that I could tell what kind of drinks people were drinking in the stands! How cool is that?!

Isabella in Mexico

Drove to Tijuana to get some friends some souvenirs (and also to get my passport stamped with my very first stamp!). Snapped some photos with the camera at the border but didn’t get very far. Remind me never to wear knee high leather boots in Mexico because the foot pain can be unbearable!! I even wore two pairs of socks inside the boots and they still hurt so much I had to cut my trip short. I only stayed at the border and didn’t even go to Revolution. Plus being by myself, there was no way I was going walking alone throughout Mexico, so I just got a few souvenirs and left.

And just like the last time I was there, the Mexican guys by the border constantly pressured me to visit their stores, shops, and booths. Even the taxi-cab drivers were a pain in the ass and even when I said, “No, gracias,” they still followed me for a block trying to get me to buy something from them. Needless to say, I walked a lot. Having been to Mexico many times now, I knew what to expect from strangers selling things, but for some reason it seemed every adult salesmen was overly argumentative and persistent. But hey, at least the children were less persistent than last time (this time only ONE kid hassled me when it’s usually a few hundred).

Certified NLP Practitioner - finally!

Finally back home in Bloomington!

Now certified:
Woohoo! After studying for the last 6 months, I am officially certified as an NLP Practitioner approved by American Pacific University and also certifiably acknowledged by the Association of Integrative Psychology. Although I was already a certified clinical hypnotherapist, I went ahead and renewed my Hypnosis certification for the next two years by completing the test again (this time a level higher). And I am also now certified as a Time Empowerment Life Coach using Time Line Therapy in accordance with the Empowerment Partnership.

My score:
I scored 96% and ironically one of the two questions missed was, “What is NLP?” because I stated what it can do versus what it is. Out of ALL the questions, it was surprising to see such an easy answer was incorrect. Class was very informative and the knowledge there was immeasurable and extremely valuable. Many of the questions on the test were VERY hard considering nothing was multiple choice and most involved several paragraphs to answer. How could I have missed such an easy, basic question? Oh well, I know the answer now. haha

Master Practitioner level in November:
I learned so much and want to know even more about NLP, that I’ve decided to become a Master NLP Practitioner. It’s a level higher than my current status and I’m convinced the things I’ll learn at that stage will be life changing. Wow it would be so cool to be certified as a Master. So in November, I’ll be traveling to Kona, Hawaii and will be in class for two full weeks (I’ll probably take slave m with me so when class gets out every day, there will be a sexy slave waiting in my hotel room to massage my sore back).

Talking differently:
One of the drawbacks with finally learning all this NLP is that whenever I spent time with my family, my speech started to change. It wasn’t even like I was purposely trying to, it just came effortlessly. Even when we ate at Red Lobster and other places, it seemed I was constantly trying to “fix” them or give motivational advice or in some way contributing my newfound knowledge in hopes they would apply it to their relationships or problematic situations. My family (mom, aunt, and a few others) said I sounded like a counselor and could see me being a successful therapist because every question they threw at me, I seemed to have just the right answer. Just thinking about that makes me laugh because in the past, most of the conversations I had with my mother turned into arguments. But this time, she kept asking me for more and more advice. NLP has taught me to think before I speak and be very aware of how words are phrased because they can impact people’s patterns and behaviors. I try now to put thought into the words I speak in hopes to be able to read people better.

Most of the training involved hands-on training which improved my ability to read people IN PERSON (eye patterns, language patterns, body movements, etc). We were also taught how to hypnotize on a deeper level using Ericksonian methods - including matching my words according to someone’s breathing patterns. Unfortunately stuff like that requires hypnotizing someone in person so I can watch their breathing patterns. My current occupation relies on hypnotizing people via recording or on the phone (therefore impossible to watch breathing patterns in person). When I hypnotize someone on the phone, I pretty much rely on auditory patterns to try to match and mirror people (speech tones, audio tempo, voice pitch). I’ve now learned to incorporate kinesthetics, visuals, tastes and smells, among other things. Wow I could go on forever about this.

Time Line Therapy:
While in class learning Time Line Therapy (the info not provided in books), we were told that successful practitioners are only successful if they themselves believe in the product (in this case, the therapy). I had been skeptical for nearly 6 months about this type of therapy and thought applying it to others would be a piece of cake but had no intention of using it on myself.

While in class, we were told that we had to participate FULLY in the time line therapy for many techniques as both a client AND a practitioner. This meant I had to experience it myself as the client. I was very nervous because truth be told, being a client is kind of weird for me. I feel much more comfortable being the practitioner giving instructions than being the client receiving them.. I had always hated the idea of following someone else’s instructions, because it made me feel in a way… submissive. But I did it and am grateful for doing so.

In time line therapy, we had to remove EVERY one of our phobias (I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE), remove limiting decisions, negative emotions (I had a lot!), and then…. we had to remove all of our anger, then sadness, then fear, and then guilt from our entire lives. Now think about that for a moment. Removing all of our anger? From the time we were born to now? You can see why I was hesitant about it working. But I did it… and when the anger-removal therapy was done, I burst into tears like a sobbing baby. Little did I know, when people remove all their anger from their lives, they usually experience great sadness. Crying is something I rarely do, ESPECIALLY in front of another person… much less in front of a group of people, so for me to sob like a baby in front of everyone felt extremely embarrassing. To get rid of my newfound heavy sadness, my practitioner used the Sadness Removal therapy and then I started to feel scared for some reason. I don’t even know what I was scared of, I just felt scared of everything (fear of failure, fear of acceptance, fear of just being), so he used the Fear-Removal therapy. Instantly, I felt the emotion release and started to feel extremely guilty for having allowed myself to feel fear in the first place. Notice the pattern? When one emotion is removed, another buried one begins to service and becomes stronger! So he used the Guilt-Removal therapy and I felt cleansed. Much better!

Learning:
I learned that when doing this with a client, it is important to always remove Anger (stimulant emotion) first, then Sadness (depressant emotion), then Fear (stimulant emotion), and then Guilt (depressant emotion). And ALWAYS in that order. Those four emotions are extremely hard-pressing strong emotions that people keep buried in themselves for years. Once they are removed, it feels absolutely amazing! I felt as though I could do anything in the world without ever being held back!

In the hot seat:
Then of course, it was my turn to perform it on the practitioner. We switched seats and he became the client. My teacher and all the teacher’s aides watched while I began his therapy. I was no longer nervous or scared or angry or sad or whatever… it felt like a huge load was lifted. I began with the Anger-removal and as soon as the emotion was lifted, he began laughing hysterically (oh my, and I had cried???) and I was VERY confused. Why was he laughing? Was he laughing at me? Had I done something wrong? I felt this overwhelming sense of confusion. My teacher informed me that everyone experiences emotion releases differently - some laugh and some cry. This relieved my confusion and I continued with his therapy. I talked him through Sadness-removal, Fear-removal, and finally Guilt-removal. A success! He walked away feeling the same way I did and for the rest of the week, he said it felt like, “The great wall of China has been removed off my back.” That made it all worth it.

I can’t even go into all the details of things I learned because it would take me weeks to write it all. But needless to say, I feel better emotionally. I didn’t think I felt bad before, but now that those negative emotions have been released, my whole body feels 150% better!

Ok enough for now lol, I’m gonna post some pics in my next posts.

Fourth of july get-together

*friends only post*

Yay I finally made it to San Diego! There are so many people I desperately want to see and hang out with!! There is no way in the world I can see everyone before I have to head back…

so…

I’m throwing a little get-together. It’s not really a party cause well, it’s very “last-minute” but I really really really miss everyone and this is the only way I can think of to see people and just have some fun without hurting people’s feelings. Won’t you come over and hang out?

Tomorrow night (July 4th) you are invited to come to my hotel room at the Hotel Solomar (435 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA) in the GasLamp District and come hang out and watch the fireworks! The view from this room is SPECTACULAR (especially at night) and I get to see all the skyscrapers and stuff and the view overlooks the stadium, so we’ll get to see the fireworks and everything. So if you wanna come on over, feel free!! And this hotel is so fucking awesome (so contemporary and artistic!), the decor here is amazing.

It would be a shame to let this hotel room go to waste since this is such a wonderful place. The view alone is outstanding. If you wanna get drunk, there’s a full bar downstairs (and wow it’s so neat too). And if you get hungry, simply order from room service and they’ll bring it up. (Usually I provide food and drinks when throwing a party, but um… this was sort of last minute planning and plus I couldn’t really put a full bar into my sutcase LOL). So come on over! I would love to see some friends :)
Time: when it starts to get dark (til whenever) on July 4th
Where: Hotel Solomar
435 6th Avenue San Diego, CA
(EMAIL ME at isabella@isabellavalentine.com for room number and I’ll give it to you)

All emails are being forwarded to my pda so I will respond asap.

I miss you all so much, wow it’s good to be back!
